WITHOUT AUDIENCE
THERE IS NO
CINEMA
Biencortos: International Short Film Festival of Maracaibo is an annual event that serves as a global stage for independent cinema. Beyond a competition, the festival stands as a vibrant ecosystem where filmmakers from around the world converge to celebrate the short film as a vital medium for cultural dialogue and artistic innovation. By integrating quality programming with community growth and professional exchange, the festival drives the local industry while championing its core conviction that Cortos = Cine—a cinematic form capable of generating global conversations.
